Eagles cross country turns around at Chilton

The Southern Door cross country will race for the second time in three days when they visit Chilton on Thursday.

 

Ben Grota was the boys' top finisher in Tuesday's Algoma Invitational that saw the Eagles take second place with 48 points, 25 points behind champion NEWCHAA Homeschool. The girls finished middle of the pack with 92 points, led by a fourth-place finish and a season-best performance by Emma Bousley.

 

The Eagles will race against Denmark, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Sheboygan South, Wrightstown, and the host school when they start the first race at 4 p.m. According to the Packerland Conference website, this race was originally scheduled for Saturday.
