Clippers, Spartans volleyball competes on second day of Kettle Moraine Tournament

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers volleyball team will continue to face tough headwinds at its tournament in Wales on Saturday after beginning it at Kettle Moraine and Brookfield Central high schools on Friday.

 

The Clippers came into the weekend on the heels of a busy week after losing in five sets to Shawano on Tuesday and a Packerland Conference match on Peshtigo (no statistics given). 

 

Appleton East, Barneveld, Brookfield Central, Cedarburg, Dominican, Eau Claire Memorial High School, Fox Valley Lutheran, Holmen, Homestead, Hortonville, Kettle Moraine, Kewaunee High School, Marshall, Muskego, Neenah, Newman Catholic, Nicolet, Oak Creek, Onalaska, Racine Case, Racine Lutheran, Luxemburg-Casco, Sun Prairie West, The Prairie, Wauwatosa East, and Westosha Central are also scheduled to compete when the tournament restarts at 8 a.m. Saturday.

 

Other local teams will also be in action on Saturday:

  • Gibraltar and Sevastopol travel to Ashwaubenon to face Antigo, Seymour, Amherst, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, Hilbert, North Fond du Lac, Denmark, Wrightstown and Calumet, MI beginning at 9 a.m.
  • Southern Door heads to Brillion to face Chilton, Freedom, and Manitowoc Lutheran at 9 a.m.
