Clippers fight hard and play well, but fall to Hornets on The Pirate

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers soccer team fight hard against the Green Bay Preble Hornets at City Stadium but fell 1-0 in the end. Langfeldt played a great match and was called on for make over 10 saves as the hornets provided pressure from the opening touch. Scoring the only goal of the match, which came in the first half, was Preble’s Shanoski. The Clippers are off until Thursday the 21st when they travel to Gibraltar. 

 

In other soccer action on Friday, Kewaunee beat Washington Island 4-2.
