The local teams competed in the 18-team Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusader Challenge with the Sevastopol girls claiming third place with 137 points. Kewaunee finished ninth with 223 points and Southern Door tallied 328 points to finish 15th. Ozaukee took top honors with 118 points while Kohler came in second with 133.
In the boy's division, Southern Door finished seventh with 219 and Kewaunee took tenth.with 303 points.
Individually for the boys, Christopher Cullen came in second with a 17:05.57 time, while Southern Door’s Ben Grota ran an 18:11.99 to finish 16th and pace the Eagles.
In the girls competition, Hannah Miller ran 19:37.61 to take second place and Emma Boulsey finished ninth with a time of 21:08.52. Naomi Rikkola of Sevastopol finished in tenth with a time of 21:08.52.
