The Luxemburg-Casco golf team was able to move up a spot in the NEC standings after playing its final conference meet of the year on Wednesday.
The team shot a 418, which was good for third place on the day, and bumped them up from seventh place to sixth place in the conference standings. Fox Valley Lutheran won the meet with a score of 399 and scored 32 points on the season to win the NEC crown.
Leading the way individually on the day was Marissa Annoye who shot a 102. Bowie Bredael and Reese Bandow were just two shots behind their teammate Annoye with twin scores of 104. Kate Ledvina shot a 108 and Morgan DeJardin scored a 113 to round out the Spartans' roster. Kennedy Polomis of Marinette won the meet with a score of 90.
According to girls' golf coach Tyler Thrune, Bredael was named an All-NEC Honorable Mention selection after leading her team several times this season.
