Sevastopol cross country races again Saturday

The Sevastopol cross country team will race for the second time in three days on Saturday when they run at an invitational hosted by Manitowoc Lincoln.

 

Brillion, Brown Deer, Cedarburg, Cristo Rey Jesuit, Fond du Lac, Grafton, Green Bay East, Green Bay West, Kaukauna, Menomonee Falls, New Berlin Eisenhower, Oostburg, Oshkosh West, Pacelli, Plymouth, Sheboygan North, Sheboygan South, Shorewood, Stevens Point (SPASH), Valders, Wauwatosa East, and West Bend East are also scheduled to compete in the invitational at Meadow Links Golf Course beginning at 9 a.m. with the first race.

 

In the small school division, the Sevastopol girls nearly won the meet, finishing just eight points behind Cedar Grove-Belgium with 82 points to come in second place on Thursday at the Bremser Invitational in Mishicot. The Pioneers were able to put two girls in the top 10 with Bea Dramm finishing in 21:14 and Naomi Rikkola right behind her in 21:15. Jarius Dadam was the lone boy finisher for the Pioneers, covering the 5K course in 19:30.
