The volleyball season is winding down and area schools were on the courts Tuesday night battling for late-season wins.

In Fish Creek, the Southern Door Eagles beat the Gibraltar Vikings 3-1 in Packerland Conference play.  The Eagles won 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 25-18. 

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans remained undefeated in North Eastern Conference action by downing the Waupaca Comets in three close sets of 25-22, 25-23, 25-23. 

Algoma beat Sturgeon Bay at home with a sweep of 25-20, 25-17, 25-22 as Ryley Zimmerman recorded her 1,000 career dig.
