Volleyball round-up: Algoma wins classic against Southern Door

The Algoma volleyball team played another classic match on Thursday night, topping Southern Door Thursday night 3-2 (19-25, 28-26, 20-25, 25-23, 15-12) to highlight Packerland Conference action.

Other matches concluded with Kewaunee sweeping Peshtigo 3-0 and Gibraltar toppling Sevastopol 3-1.

It will be a busy Saturday for area volleyball teams with Luxemburg-Casco traveling to Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, Southern Door heading to Brillion and Kewaunee going to Oconto Falls for 9 a.m. tournaments
