Sturgeon Bay High School junior Julia Michalski was named the Bay Conference Swimmer of the Year. Julia is a fun-loving, funny, and extremely dedicated swimmer. She puts her heart into every race and always pushes herself to the limit. She is the team MVP this year, with more than 300 individual points. Julia is the fastest swimmer on the team in all events. She specializes in the 200 individual medley, 100 backstroke, and 100 freestyle. Julia is always positive on the pool deck and in practice. She is truly a team player. Julia never misses practice. She encourages both her teammates and competitors. She is always looking to improve as a team and will give feedback that benefits the team. Julia is humble, hardworking, an excellent student, and an overall great athlete. We are incredibly proud to have her as an integral part of the DCU family.
