The Green Bay Gamblers won their second straight game in Michigan on Saturday night, winning 6-5 in a shootout against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
Jayson Shaugabay's first-period tally and second-period goals by Blake Bechen and Jason Gallucci gave the Gamblers a 3-2 lead entering the third period. After Geno Carcone gave the Gamblers their fourth goal, the Lumberjacks responded with three goals in three minutes to take a 5-4 lead. Bechen's second goal with under 10 minutes remaining forced overtime that would end scoreless. Julian Lutz was the only player on either side to register a goal in the shootout to give the Gamblers the extra point. Adam Gajan had 38 saves in the contest.
The two teams will duel again on Sunday at 2:10 p.m.
