The Green Bay Blizzard continues to add onto their roster ahead of their season opener this spring.
DB Dedrick Vanover and WR Tamarick Vanover Jr. were announced as the team's newest signings. The two players are brothers, though only Tamarick comes to the Blizzard with previous indoor football league experience.
According to GreenBayBlizzard.com, Tamarick played in one game for the Cedar Rapids River Kings in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the cancellation of the league's season. Tamarick later signed with the Tucson Sugar Skulls in 2022. Dedrick appeared in 20 games from 2018-2019 for the Morehouse Maroon Tigers. His career 53 tackles, 3 TFLs, 7 INTs, 21 PBUs, and one fumble recovery earned him 2nd Team All-SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) DB honors in 2019.
