The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team will hit the reset button Thursday night when they welcome St. Francis to the Kress Center on Thursday.
The Phoenix men were never in their matchup against Iowa State in Ames on Monday, losing 85-44. The Cyclones' defense held the Phoenix to just over 28 percent shooting on the evening, including 24 percent from behind the arc. Noah Reynolds led the way for the Phoenix with 14 points, while Foster Wonders registered 11 points.
The Fighting Saints finished last year with a 16-11 overall record and a 14-6 mark in their conference. Thursday marks their season opener in their first of three straight exhibitions.
