The UWGB men’s basketball team let a 31-26 first-half lead slip away and fell to the Valparaiso Beacons on the road in Horizon League action.

Green Bay (1-3) was led by Noah Reynolds, who poured in 24 points, and Elijah Jones added 13 more with 15 boards. 

Valparaiso (3-1) outscored the Phoenix 38-28 in the second half and were paced by Jaxon Edward’s 19 points and Isaiah Stafford, who chipped in 18 points.

U.W.-Green Bay will be back in action next Monday when they travel to play Montana State in a non-conference game.
