Girls basketball round-up: Area teams pick up four wins

There were plenty of W's across the area on Thursday ahead of a limited girls' basketball schedule on the docket on Friday.

 

Sevastopol led from start to finish against their Door County rivals, beating Sturgeon Bay 55-25. The Clippers will get back at it on Friday when they travel to Clintonville for a 7 p.m. tip.

 

Luxemburg-Casco registered a close win over its conference rivals as they beat Wrightstown 58-56.

 

Southern Door could not come away with the road non-conference, losing to Seymour 56-31.

 

Kewaunee took the drama out of their game against NEW Lutheran early on, beating them 62-18.

 

Algoma bounced back from a loss earlier this week with a 51-28 win over Peshtigo.

 

Gibraltar could not upset conference-leading Oconto at home, losing the game 46-37.
