Badgers suffer first Big Ten loss to Penn State

The Wisconsin Badgers saw their undefeated conference record fall to the Penn State Nittany Lions with an 87-83 loss at State College.

The Badgers’ defensive lapses throughout the game doomed Wisconsin all night.  Wisconsin was ranked 8th in the nation coming in Tuesday night but fall to 13-4 overall and 5-1 in the Big Ten.

AJ Storr led the Badgers with 23 points, and Steven Crowl added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.  Max Klement, Wisconsin’s best on-ball defender, was in foul trouble all night and fouled out with 2:43 left in the game, scoring 10 points in just 15 minutes of play.

Wisconsin will look to bounce back on Friday as they host Indiana (12-6) at the Kohl Center.
