Picking up wins before the Packers kickoff is the goal of several local boys' basketball teams on Saturday.
Some teams had their tip-off times adjusted this week to fit in with the NFC Divisional Playoff Game.
The Algoma Wolves will renew the county high school rivalry against the Kewaunee Storm with a Packerland Conference boys basketball Saturday matinee. Saturday’s game will tipoff at 2:00 p.m. from Algoma High School, with pregame set on 104.1 WRLU at 1:45 p.m. with Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer on the call.
Luxemburg-Casco will travel to Menasha for a 4 p.m. tip after Oconto Falls slipped past them on Friday 51-47.
Other Saturday games include Southern Door playing Oconto at home (2 p.m.), Sevastopol hosting Peshtigo (2 p.m.), and Sturgeon Bay traveling to NEW Lutheran (2 p.m.).
