Area girls' basketball teams continued to build their resume for the postseason before the WIAA issues their official seedings on Sunday.

On U-102.1, Kewaunee controlled its game against Southern Door with a 57-23 win.

The Sevastopol girls' basketball team earned their second win of the week on Friday, beating NEW Lutheran 53-32. The Pioneers will travel to Oshkosh to face Wabeno-Laona as a part of a Wisconsin Herd triple-header that includes a game between the schools' boys' teams. Tip-off for the girls' game is at 1 p.m., while the boys play at 2:30 p.m.

Gibraltar survived its matchup against Sturgeon Bay with a 44-42 victory on the road. They will stay on the road when they visit Elcho for a 1  p.m. tip.

Luxemburg-Casco fell to Waupaca on the road 44-33.
