Gamblers lose to Black Hawks on the road

A three-goal second period kept the Green Bay Gamblers from re-entering the win column as they lost to the Waterloo Black Hawks 5-4 at Young Arena.

The Gamblers entered the fatal period with a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from William Hughes and Julian Lutz, but the Black Hawks would go on to score four of the next five goals over the following 26 minutes on the game clock. Jayson Shaugabay provided a reprieve from the onslaught, while Charlie Russell added one more goal late in the third period. Adam Gajan stopped 36 of the 41 shots he faced in the game. The Gamblers are back at it Saturday when they travel to Madison for a 7:05 p.m. tilt against the Capitols.
