DCU swimmer take to the pool for state meet

It is the end of the pool for the Door County United Swim Team as they head to Waukesha South High School for the WIAA Division 2 State Meet.

DCU will have swimmers in three different events:

200 Yard Medley Relay (Heat 1, Lane 7)
Jack Monfils, 200 Yard Individual Medley (Heat 2, Lane 8)
Jack Monfils, 100 Yard Breaststroke (Heat 2, Lane 2)

Monfils swam one of top eight qualifying times in his two individual meets, including a sectional winning time in the breaststroke.

The first events are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. for swimmers. The diving side of the state meet will take place earlier in the day. Division 1 schools will have their state meet on Saturday.
