It will feel a few degrees warmer on Saturday when the Milwaukee Brewers play their first spring training exhibition.
The team reported for its first season last week under Pat Murphy's tutelage. The Brewers made their splash in the free agency waters last month when they signed Rhys Hoskins to a two-year contract while seeing Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff head to different pastures. This month, the Brewers have signed RHP Joshua Quezada, RHP Jakob Junis, LHP DL Hall, and INF Joey Ortiz.
The Brewers open their spring training schedule against the San Diego Padres on Saturday and the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
