Girls open WIAAs with four games on NEW Radio Sports Network

The road to Green Bay begins on Tuesday with most of the area's teams in action and playing on the NEW Radio Sports Network.

 

The Sevastopol Pioneers look to defend their regional championship from a year ago when they open against St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Institute. Bryan Mazur and Tim Ash will have the call on 96.7 WBDK.

 

The Southern Door Eagles will head south to New Holstein to take on the Huskies in their WIAA opener. Jacob Nate and Matt Malvitz will have the call on U-102.1.

 

The Algoma Wolves open their WIAA Tournament run with a home game against Roncalli. Paul Schmitt and Reece Robillard will carry the action on 104.1 WRLU.

 

The Gibraltar Vikings will have an opportunity to avenge last year's exit in the WIAAs when they travel to Niagara for the second consecutive season. Tim Kowols will make the trip for 105.1 The GOAT.

 

All of the games above will be streamed on NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com and begin at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m.

 

Other games scheduled for Tuesday include Sturgeon Bay traveling to Tomahawk for a 6 p.m. tip while Kewaunee and Luxemburg-Casco don't play until Friday.
