The Green Bay Gamblers scored at least four goals over the weekend in all four of their games to take two of three from the visiting Muskegon Lumberjacks.
In Friday's 5-1 win, the Gamblers scored four unanswered goals, including two from Rryan Humphrey. Michael D'Angelo also tallied two goals, while Ben Poitras had a multi-point game with two assists. Eight others also collected at least one assist.
Saturday's 7-4 loss was done in front of a full house as the Lumberjacks tallied three goals in the second and third periods to send the home fans home saddened. Sacha Boisvert registered a hat trick for the Lumberjacks thanks to an empty netter at the end of regulation. Julian Lutz had a three-point game (1G, 2A) to lead the Gamblers.
Sunday's win was done by a 5-4 score, with the Gamblers having to hold off the Lumberjacks when they scored two goals in the final four-plus minutes. Lutz posted his second straight three-point game (1G, 2A) while Libor Nemec tallied two goals and an assist.
