Gamblers doubled up by Steel

The Green Bay Gamblers lost a rare weeknight home game on Wednesday, losing to the Chicago Steel 4-2.

A make-up contest from earlier in the season, the Steel took a 3-0 lead into the third period before William Hughes scored his first of two goals in the opening minutes of the third period. Down 4-1, Hughes registered his second goal of the game and 12th of the season in the final minute. Michael Hage had a three-point game (2G, 1A) in the win for the Steel, who only had 13 shots on goal against Adam Gajan.

The Gamblers are back in action this weekend when they host Des Moines on Friday at 7:05 p.m. and Waterloo at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday.
