Four answered goals in the second period turned a 1-0 deficit into an eventual 5-1 win for the Green Bay Gamblers over the Des Moines Buccanneers.
Mykhailo Danylov scored twice and Libor Nemec and Charlie Russell registered goals as well in a 14 minute span to chase goaltender Ethan Dahlmeir after just 33 minutes of play. Michael DeAngelo benefited from an empty net to score the final goal. Gavin Moffatt stopped 27 of 28 shots to earn the win.
The Gamblers are back in action on Saturday night when they host the Waterloo Black Hawks.
