The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team will start their road toward Cleveland in Raleigh, North Carolina, Saturday morning when they face perennial power Tennessee.

The Phoenix are making their first appearance in six years after a twenty-plus-year run before that. Like most mid-majors, the Phoenix earned their spot with a tournament championship in the Horizon League, finally getting over the three-year hump of Cleveland State. 

The Lady Vols went 19-12 overall and 10-6 in a stacked SEC that boasts title-contending South Carolina and LSU among its members.

Tip-off is set for 11 a.m.
