The Green Bay Gamblers enter the final stretch of the regular season with three games beginning Thursday night against the Youngstown Phantoms.
The Gamblers split a pair of close matchups against the Chicago Steel last weekend, including a 5-4 overtime loss in their last contest. The Steel scored the first two goals of the game, but then Ryan Humphrey, Chris Romaine, and Ben Poitras rattled off consecutive tallies to end the second period for the Gamblers with a 3-2 lead. After the Steel tied the game seven minutes into the third period, Mykhailo Danylov gave the Gamblers the slim advantage back. The Steel would later tie the game to force overtime before Michael Hagens delivered the game-winner seconds into the extra period.
Thursday's game starts at 5:05 p.m. while the other two games will begin at 6:05 p.m.
