Area softball diamonds were busy with doubleheaders on Tuesday afternoon.
The Southern Door Eagles split a pair of games with the Peshtigo Bulldogs, winning 4—2 in the opener and losing 7-5 in the nightcap.
The Algoma Wolves cruised to a sweep at home against the Sturgeon Bay Clippers. The Wolves shutout the Clippers 13-0 in the first game and hammered Sturgeon Bay 17-1 in the second game of the double bill.
