Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol hold own at St. Norbert Elite Track Meet

The Sturgeon Bay and Sevastopol track teams faced some of the top teams in the region Friday at the St. Norbert College Elite Meet.

For Sturgeon Bay, the boys and girls squads combined to post top-eight finishes eight times during the meet. The best performances were saved for the girls as Nida Zukauskaite (high jump) posted a personal record, and Julia Kurek (3200m) ran strong to come in second place in their respective events.

For Sevastopol, the Pioneers had three athletes finish in the top eight. For the boys, Jarius Dadam seventh in the triple jump. On the girls' side, Bea Dramm (8th, 3200m) and Caitlyn Fellner's personal record in the 400m led the way.
