Sweeps the theme in Saturday matchups on the diamond

There was no sharing of victories across the baseball and softball games that were played on Saturday as they avoided the forecasted raindrops.

 

The Gibraltar Vikings baseball team made the most of their trip to Peshtigo on Saturday, taking both ends of a doubleheader 9-4 and 9-6.

 

It was a tale of two games for the Algoma and Kewaunee baseball teams on Saturday with the Wolves taking both games by 20-19 and 2-1 margins.

 

The Algoma Wolves softball team swept their Kewaunee County rivals in a pair of matchups on Saturday, beating Kewaunee 5-0 and 13-3.

 

The Southern Door Eagles softball team made quick work of their rivals on Saturday sweeping Sturgeon Bay with twin 15-0 scores.

 

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball split their two contests on Saturday, losing to Kohler 16-5 before beating Reedsville 9-5.
