It was a busy Saturday across the peninsula with several local teams playing in doubleheaders.

On U-102.1, the Southern Door Eagles took both games of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against NEW Lutheran, winning 12-0 in Game 1 and 17-0 in Game 2.  Both games ended after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

Over on 105.1 The GOAT, Aaron Brey helped Gibraltar/Washington Island sweep the Oconto Blue Devils 7-0 and 5-4 in two different ways on Saturday.

Playing on 104.1 WRLU, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans dropped a pair of games to the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes on Saturday, 1-0 and 12-0, in a North Eastern Conference baseball doubleheader.

The Kewaunee Storm put up crooked numbers in three innings to spring past Reedsville 9-4 in Saturday baseball action.

A single tally in the sixth inning by Green Bay Preble spoiled a second trip to Titletown for the Sturgeon Bay baseball team as they lost 5-4.
