The area's baseball teams hope to finish their respective season strong with the WIAA brackets being settled this week and conference crowns still in play.

The Clippers never trailed during Monday's doubleheader against Sevastapol on U102.1 in Sturgeon Bay, winning the games 10-8 and 13-0.

The other Monday games saw Kewaunee sweeping NEW Lutheran 10-0 and 15-1 with Brett Paulsen throwing a six-inning no-hitter in game one.

Tuesday's games include Gibraltar and Sevastopol wrapping up their darkness-shortened game at 4 p.m., Algoma hosting Mishicot (5 p.m.), and Luxemburg-Casco hosting Little Chute (4:30 p.m.).
