Three local teams played on the softball diamonds on Tuesday as the Packerland Conference championship was decided in Algoma.

The Algoma Wolves took care of business, repeating as the Packerland Conference softball champions with a 4-0 and 9-6 doubleheader win over the Sevastopol Pioneers.  The Wolves came away with the win in the opener by scoring all four runs in the fifth inning.  Macie Zimmerman picked up the win in going the distance, clinching the conference for the Wolves.

In Crivitz, the Gibraltar Vikings fell to the Wolverines 7-6 in non-conference softball action.
