The Green Bay Glory look to improve to 4-0 on Sunday when they travel to Waukegan, Ill. to face Chicago Ghost.
In their 4-0 win over Berber City on Sunday, the Glory would jump out to an early lead when, in the 11', Ethan Dietrich sent a shot across the goal past a diving goalkeeper Jack Strogen, that deflected off the right post into the goal. No more goals were scored in the first half, but the game hit an eleven-minute delay when a ball off the foot of William Smested, which came just after a whistle, caught the main referee in the head, leading to her needing medical attention. The kick earned Smeasted a yellow card when play resumed. The Glory struck early again in the second half when at the 49' Ethan Dietrich sent a corner kick in to Ben Omirnik, which Omernik headed into the back of the net for a two-nothing lead. The game would then hit its second long delay when a lightning strike nearby sent it into a nearly 45-minute weather delay. After the delay, Ethan Dietrich continued his big day, putting another goal in the back of the net in the 70's. Green Bay's scoring was not done yet, as Tommy Geocaris would put a goal into the net in extra time.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
