Wednesday's game was well worth the wait for the Green Bay Rockers, who defeated their I-41 rivals, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 5-3.
Nick Harms got things started in the third inning when he scored on a passed ball to make it 1-0. The Dock Spiders twice in the fourth inning before the Rockers tied things up on a Jake Bold fielder's choice in the fifth inning. The difference in the game came in the sixth inning when a hit by pitch and a sacrifice fly led to two Rockers runs. The two teams would trade runs in the eighth before Jake Toporek nailed down the save for the Rockers.
Kyle Dobyns earned the win for the Rockers, pitching four innings of scoreless relief while striking out three. Sam Miller recorded the only multi-hit game for the Rockers.
