A nine-run second inning proved fatal for the Green Bay Rockers as they lost their Sunday matinee to the Wausau Woodchucks 11-7.
A Seth Farni RBI single got the Rockers on the scoreboard first in the second inning, but seven hits and nine errors later, it was 9-1 Woodchucks. The Rockers would get single tallies in the third, fifth, and seventh innings before they registered three in the ninth inning as they posed a rally. All three of those runs came on a bases-clearing double by Seth Farni. He finished the day 2-4 with the strikeout. Lane Allen had three hits and Mateo Matthews also posted two hits. Jagger Edwards took the loss for the Rockers, giving up six runs (5 ER) on four hits in just 1 1/3 innings.
