In a slugfest, the Green Bay Rockers defeated the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 13-11 on the road Tuesday night.
The Rocker exploded for seven runs in the third inning to take a 9-2 lead and hung on for the victory.
Taylor Schultz, Mateo Matthews, and Seth Farni all had three hits apiece to lead the Rockers who hammered out 17 hits in the win. Lukes Torres added a two-RBI double for Green Bay.
Mikel Howell (2-0) picked up the win for the Rockers while Mack Crowley got his first save of the season.
The Rockers host the Wausau Woodchucks tonight at home starting at 6:35 p.m.
