The Kewaunee Chiefs earned their third win of the season on Monday night, beating Branch 7-2.
Lincoln Barta got things off on the right with foot with his feet, stretching a base hit into an inside-the-park homer to make it 1-0. With the game tied, Alex Rohr doubled home a run to make it 2-1 in the sixth. The Chiefs would score five runs over the next two innings, outhitting the Blaze 11-4 for the night.
Wyatt Kruse led the way as he went 3-5 with a RBI. Barta and Cal Ihlenfeldt each added two hits a piece in the win that went to pitcher Joe Anderson, who allowed two runs (1ER) on four hits in a complete-game effort.
No score could be found for Monday's Casco/Manitowoc game.
