The Green Bay Blizzard start their playoff march on Friday night when they host the Quad Cities Steamwheelers at the Resch Center.
The Blizzard overcame a slow start to score at least two touchdowns in each of the final three quarters to beat the Sioux Falls Storm 51-30. Max Meylor scored seven total touchdowns, including five through the air as he went 23-28 for 265 yards. While the Storm bottled up the Blizzard's rushing game, EJ Burgess and Jalyn Cagle broke out with two receiving touchdowns a piece.
The Blizzard went 2-0 against the Steamwheelers during the season, squeaking past them on the road before commanding 64-36 win at home on May 31st.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
