On Tuesday, Green Bay Packer General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the signing of three new players to the roster and the cutting of three others.
Long snapper Peter Bowden, and cornerbacks Don Callis and LJ Davis were signed with cornerback Zyon Gilbert, fullback Henry Pearson and kicker James Turner being released.
Bowden (6-2, 239), a rookie out of Wisconsin who was signed earlier this year and released, will wear No. 49 for the Packers.
Callis (5-10, 174), a rookie who spent four years at East Central University and one season at Troy University (2023), had an earlier tryout with the Packers in May and will wear No. 30.
Davis (6-1, 203), a first-year player out of Northern Arizona University, started his college career at Southern Utah (2017-21) and finished at NAU (2022). He signed originally with the Tennessee Titans before being cut earlier this year. He will wear No. 40 for the Packers.
