Eleven-man football teams report to practice

The first signs of fall will be present on Tuesday as the area's 11-man football teams receive their pads and start practicing.

Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay football players are allowed to begin practicing on Tuesday, approximately a full week before girls' golf (8/12), eight-man football (8/13), girls' tennis (8/13), and girls' swimming (8/13). While they report first, their ramp-up period is about a week older, with the first games not occurring until August 22nd at the earliest. You can find some of the key dates for the area's 11-man football teams below.

Luxemburg-Casco: August 23rd at Seymour

Kewaunee: August 23rd vs. Racine Lutheran

Southern Door: August 23rd at Oostburg

Sturgeon Bay: August 23rd at Waupun
