The Green Bay Packers flew out of Austin Straubel Airport early Wednesday morning to prepare for their opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
After the 10-hour flight, the Packers are planning on a walk-through Thursday at the Corinthians soccer club’s training ground.
On the injury front, Rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) did not participate in practice for the Packers on Tuesday. On limited duties were linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip), receiver Romeo Doubs (hand), running back Emanuel Wilson (hip), and cornerback Carrington Valentine (hamstring).
The nationally televised game on Friday kicks off at 7:15 p.m.
