Packers, Eagles battle in Brazil Friday

The Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles will christen a new NFL market tonight when the two teams face off in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The Brazilian capital joins London (United Kingdom), Munich (Germany), Frankfurt (Germany), and Mexico City (Mexico) as hosts for the NFL International Series games. The NFL touted the market as one of the fastest-growing in the world for the league.

The Packers are coming off a 9-8 season a year ago that ended with splitting their playoff contests against the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. Led by the midseason renaissance of Jordan Love, the Packers won six of their final eight games to make the playoff.

The Eagles had the flip of that script, losing five of their last six regular season games before they were bounced in the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m.
