Four local football teams featured on NEW Radio Sports Network Friday

All seven local football teams will be in action on Friday night, four of which will be featured on the NEW Radio Sports Network.

The Kewaunee Storm look to get back on the winning track when they host the Oconto Blue Devils in Packerland Conference football. The pregame is set for 6:45 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU, and kick-off is set for 7 p.m. from the Don Rabas Field in Kewaunee. The game will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network with Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer on the call.

The Gibraltar Vikings will battle a conference rival on the field and an even bigger foe off of it Friday night when they welcome the Algoma Wolves. Tim Kowols will have the call from Fish Creek on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:45 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m. You can also catch the game on 1051TheGOAT.com and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com. The game will serve as a benefit for the family of Braden Sitte, who graduated from Gibraltar in 2024 and was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma weeks before he was to join his new football teammates at UW-LaCrosse. Proceeds from the concessions, silent auction, raffle baskets, bake sale, and other activities will support his ongoing treatments and associated costs.

The Sturgeon Bay football team hopes the third time is the charm Friday night when they enter Packerland Conference play against Marinette. Bryan Mazur will have the call on U-102.1 and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening kick at 7 p.m.

Other games scheduled for Friday include Southern Door hosting Bonduel, Sevastopol visiting Suring, and Luxemburg-Casco heading to Denmark. All games start at 7 p.m.
