DCU sinks Marines in the pool

Door County United Girls High School Swim team remains undefeated in conference matchups following their 133-24 win against Marinette High School on Thursday, 9/19/24. Marinette did not have any junior varsity swimmers; however, the junior varsity team had a lot of success and great finishes. Emma Moyer (SDHS) completed the junior varsity 200-yard freestyle for the first time in competition. Rachel Rock (SEV) finished first in the 100-yard freestyle and had a time of 1:28.65. This was her fastest time all season. As for varsity swimmers, Julia Michalski (SBHS) had yet another great night. She finished first in both of her individual events and assisted in two first-place finishes for the relays she was a part of. Quinn Sperber (SDHS) competed in the 500 freestyle for the first time in her high school career, finishing second overall.
