The area's Packerland teams were busy Thursday night while its top-ranked team overall prepares for a big tournament in Milwaukee.
Kewaunee defeated Algoma 3-0, winning the sets 25-21, 25-11, and 25-23.
The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team will take their #1 ranking in Division 2 to the Milwaukee Sting Center this Friday and Saturday for a tournament. The Spartans will compete against the likes of Appleton North, Arrowhead, Brookfield Central, Burlington, Catholic Memorial, Cedarburg, Divine Savior Holy Angels, Fond du Lac, Franklin, Kettle Moraine, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Kimberly, Manitowoc Lincoln, McFarland, Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, Muskego, Neenah, Notre Dame Academy, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, River Falls, Sauk Prairie, Slinger, Sussex Hamilton, Waukesha West, Waunakee, West Bend West, Westosha Central, Wisconsin Lutheran, and Xavier. The first matches begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, with action resuming on Saturday at 9 a.m.
