The #1 team in the state will travel to face #6 as Luxemburg-Casco visits Oconto Falls for an NEC showdown Tuesday night.
The Spartans left the Charger Classic last weekend with a 3-3 record and an 11th place finish, but it gave head coach Jeff Frey a good feeling for the rest of the season."It's always a great tournament for us to go down and test ourselves against some of the best teams in the state," Frey said. "We played a lot of good volleyball, learned a lot and grew as a team." Leading the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (149 assists and 59 digs), Aubrey Frey (71 kills and 56 digs), Ella Vander Velden (51 kills and 31 digs), Claire Schleis (26 kills), and Rylan Kaminski (66 digs).
The Panthers have won 7 of their last eight matches, including a 4-1 mark last weekend at the Pulaski Invitational. Outside of a three-set loss to West De Pere in their first of two outings against each other on Saturday, the Panthers did not drop a set.
The first serve is slated for 7 p.m.
As of 6:15 a.m., no results were shared from Monday's Sturgeon Bay match against Brillion.
