Luxemburg-Casco volleyball hosts Pink Out game

The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team will try to beat cancer and an NEC rival in one evening on Tuesday.

The team will face off against Freedom at 7 p.m. with activities supporting Ribbon of Hope, such as t-shirt sales, 50/50 raffles, and a Miracle Minute taking place throughout the evening.

The Spartans are 18-6 and are coming off a 3-1 win over Wrightstown last Thursday. The Spartans won the match 25-12, 25-22, 20-25, 25-11 with Alayna Deprez (45 assists and 12 digs), Aubrey Frey (21 kills, 11 digs, and 2 aces), Ella Vander Velden (13 kills, 12 digs, and 3 aces), Lauren Lindsley (7 kills and 2 blocks), and Rylan Kaminski (13 digs and 2 aces) leading the way.

The Irish are 9-5 on the season, winning six of their last eight matches. They had a four-match winning streak snapped last week when they were swept in three sets by Fox Valley Lutheran.
