Football round-up: Southern Door wins, three more games featured on NRSN Friday

After Sturgeon Bay and Kewaunee battled on Thursday, the other teams of Door and Kewaunee counties will battle under Friday Night Lights.

It was a tale of two very different halves on Thursday night as Kewaunee fell to Southern Door 37-20 in Brussels.

The Clippers hope that a week of homecoming festivities will help erase the foul taste of last week's 42-0 loss to Kewaunee. They have a matchup with Mishicot awaiting them under the lights on Friday night. Join Jacob Nate for the call on U102.1 and NEWRadioSportsNetwork. The pregame is at 6:45 p.m., and the kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.

Seniors Jeffrey Mize and Will Lecy will play in their final football game in Fish Creek Friday night as Gibraltar hosts Suring in their home finale. Tim Kowols will have the call from Fish Creek on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first kick at 7 p.m. The game will also be streamed worldwide at NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com and 1051TheGOAT.com.

Luxemburg-Casco will have an encore from last year's playoffs with a new NEC foe when Two Rivers comes calling. Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.

Other games being played on Friday include Sevastopol playing at Oneida Nation/NEW Lutheran and Algoma having its homecoming game against Gillett. Those games will also be played at 7 p.m.
