It was a mixed bag of results for the area's football teams as they enter the final two weeks of the football season still jockeying for playoff positioning.

The Gibraltar Vikings struggled to slow down the Suring Eagles in the second half as they lost their home finale 42-6.

Algoma ran past Gillett 62-26 on their homecoming night, while Sevastopol toppled Oneida Nation/NEW Lutheran on the road 26-7.
