The Green Bay Gamblers opened their home slate in style on Friday, beating the Omaha Lancers 3-0 at the Resch Center.

Reece Cordray scored his first goal of the season late in the first period to make it 1-0. The two teams would trade shots but no goals in the final two minutes when Will Zellers lit the lamp to make 2-0. Zellers would add one more on an empty netter for the final tally.

The two teams play again Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
